Founder & Managing Director
Osamede Okhomina
Osamede leads Ekenua's strategic advisory and programme delivery work, with a particular focus on engagements where structuring, capital, and institutional partnership all need to come together. He sits with clients and partners through the hard decisions — on the deals, the structures, and the programmes that define where their organisations go next.
His earlier career was built in the African oil and gas sector, where over more than two decades he initiated and managed joint ventures with the international majors — including Exxon, Chevron and Shell — brought multiple assets from exploration through to production, and served as Chief Executive of both private and public oil companies. He has secured and deployed over $500m into African projects. His experience spans Europe, North America, and the Middle East, with deep expertise in Angola, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Egypt, Libya, and Nigeria. More recently, he has provided strategic advice and assisted with capital raising for companies in diverse sectors including mining and fintech, while also advising on sovereign capital raising to African Governments and structured financing products.

Alongside its advisory engagements across sectors, the firm is the architect and lead partner of flagship national programmes — including the National AI Innovation Programme in Nigeria and the Million Classics Programme.
